About Tag Game

Tag Game is a battle of wits and reflexes between players sharing the same screen, where every single second can decide who wins and who loses. Developed by JetGames, this local multiplayer gem lets 2 to 4 players jump in together, turning any computer monitor or TV into a chaotic playground.

Three maps, each one totally unique. Bounce pads, teleporters, different layouts - every round forces you to think on your feet and change how you play.

How It Actually Feels to Play Tag Game

First time I played Tag Game with three friends, none of us expected it to be this fun. Four of us huddled around the same keyboard, each on our own set of keys, yelling like maniacs whenever the tagger got too close. That split-second tension when you hear footsteps getting nearer, then suddenly swerving around a corner and escaping - honestly, you can't beat that feeling.

Chose a map with bounce pads and that's when it got wild. The tagger had me pinned, or so they thought - I hit that trampoline just right and shot up into the air, barely escaping their reach. And teleporters? Oh man, they make those hilarious "gotcha" moments that have everyone at the table cracking up.

Each match runs 60, 120, or 180 seconds depending on your settings, but time flies like nothing. The final moments are always intense. If you're the tagger, you go all-in chasing someone down so you don't lose. If you're running, every tick of the clock feels precious - you're constantly scanning for the tagger, planning routes, avoiding dead ends. That feeling when the timer hits zero and you're still safe? One of the most satisfying things I've ever experienced in a game.

What I Didn't Expect

What caught me off guard was how well the keyboard controls work for four players on one device. Player 1 uses WAD, Player 2 uses arrow keys, Player 3 uses IJL, and Player 4 uses TFH. Sounds weird at first, but once you start playing, everyone finds their comfortable spot and nobody's bumping hands.

Another thing I discovered after many rounds - the map isn't just background decoration. Every tree, every structure, every teleporter can be either your weapon or your trap. Hiding behind big trees makes you invisible to the tagger. Standing on high platforms forces them to take extra time reaching you. Using bounce pads at the right moment can save your skin. Teleporters? They drop you somewhere completely different, leaving the tagger confused and guessing where you went.

Common Mistakes That Get Me Caught

One mistake I see all the time - players standing still. They think hiding behind a tree or in a corner is safe, but the tagger just watches for a few seconds and spots them. Stay in one place too long and you're an easy target. Plain and simple.

Another classic - running in a straight line. I've watched so many players just sprint down a long open path, and the tagger catches them in seconds. No sharp turns, no obstacles, no jumps or teleporters - just predictable movement that gets you caught every single time.

Not using the environment is another huge one. So many people run right past bounce pads and teleporters without even noticing. While others are using them to escape or ambush, new players ignore them completely, and they pay the price by getting tagged over and over.

A lot of players also lose track of the countdown timer. Early in the round, they play casually; by the time there's only a few seconds left, the tagger suddenly panics but it's too late. Or the runner realizes at the last second they need to hide but can't find anywhere in time. Watching the timer from the start helps you plan ahead.
